Issue/Description:
The Trash icon in the navigation bar indicates a non-empty state even when the Trash section shows that it is empty. Opening the Trash view displays “Trash is empty,” but the navbar icon does not update accordingly.

Version:

0.2.3

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Open Tasks app
  • Delete a task
  • Navigate to Trash
  • Permanently remove all items (empty the trash)
  • Observe the Trash icon in the navbar

Expected Behavior:
The Trash icon in the navbar should reflect an empty state when there are no items in the Trash.

Other Notes:
